Community Participation

Community participation is a great way to build confidence and self-esteem while meeting like-minded people who live in your local area.  Our support team will work closely with you to identify strengths, weaknesses and interests, so we can find activities that you not only enjoy, but also create opportunities to develop and learn new skills.

At Guardians Care, we understand meeting new people and becoming involved in your community has its challenges.  That’s why we work with NDIS participants in Sydney and the surrounding areas to develop the necessary skills to become a contributing member of society.

Our support workers aim to help clients improve their relationships, achieve new learning outcomes and find and keep employment.

Social and community participation can help in the development of a range of skills, such as communication, empathy, social skills and much more!  We’ll support NDIS participants to access:

  • Community recreation activities

  • Peer support

  • Vacation care

  • Weekend programs

  • Art classes

  • Sport

  • Employment opportunities

  • Transport Services

  • Community nursing

And more!
